Accumulation of Small Efforts Leads to Great Success
Accumulation of Small Efforts Leads to Great Success
This is the Enlightenment of 16 year old Kinjiro Ninomiya.
(page 42, The Path to Freedom and Prosperity)
His points include:
1. Make a clear plan to success
2. Try your best
3. Accumulate small efforts
4. Continue on the path
5. Reach your goal
Kinjiro discovered that he can achieve a great result, even by small efforts, as long as he was committed to the path he laid out before himself.
Kinjiro planted rice at his home that was desolated by the overflow of the sakawa-gawa river. He planted from seedlings that were being thrown out by others. But that did not matter. He discovered what truly mattered was his steady, dedicated efforts. He yielded 60 kilograms of rice that autumn. The wisdom he gained from that experience lasted throughout his whole life.
